Gunnell was engaged to do the TI for the State of California Administrative Office of the Courts which was approximately 36,500 square feet of improvements.
Gunnell was very professional and experienced in all aspects of their work. Their cost estimation was accurate, timely, and professionally presented. Their job site was run in an efficient manner and their communication with us was regular and informative. Our weekly meetings with the user (State of California) were helpful in keeping the user current on the status of the TI. There were very few change orders other than those prompted by user requests.

Gunnell Construction has the noisy work completed in after-hours fashion so not to disturb our existing tenants. Hallway corridors, flooring, and bathrooms are kept clean to the point that one would not necessarily know a construction project was at hand.

In 2013, Jeff Gunnell completed a 30,000+ square foot commercial office renovation for me in midtown Sacramento. The experience of working with Gunnell Construction for the first time exceeded my expectations – something which rarely happens.

Throughout the construction process, Gunnell Construction and their subcontractors delivered on their promise of providing quality work done on time and on budget.
Construction projects encounter unexpected conditions and a contractor’s fairness in pricing change orders affects the project’s final cost.
